Images, video and audio — JPG, PNG, WebP, MP4, MOV, MP3, WAV and more
Files are converted on your device — nothing is uploaded.

AVIF input is read where your browser supports it; HEIC support and AVIF export are on the roadmap. Animated GIFs convert best to MP4 or WebM — image formats keep only the first frame.

You can also pull just the soundtrack out of a video as MP3 or WAV.

The tool reads the file’s actual contents to work out what it is — no need to tell it, and a wrong file extension won’t fool it.
Your browser does the work using the same technology desktop converters use, compiled to run locally. Nothing is uploaded — the file never leaves your machine.
You see the real before-and-after sizes, compare quality where it applies, and save the converted file. Close the tab and nothing remains.
No converter can make every file smaller “without losing any quality”. What this tool does is let you choose the trade-off, and show you the real before/after sizes.
Lossless. Lossless means the picture data is identical after conversion — PNG and FLAC work this way. Files shrink a little, never enormously.
Lossy. Lossy formats (JPG, WebP, MP3, MP4) shrink files by discarding detail your eyes and ears rarely miss. Higher compression = smaller file = more visible trade-off.
